Here’s a detail of ‘Plan Pink’ which is showing at the #rwa167 open exhibition at @rwabristol . This is a one-off hand-printed textile artwork, using dyes and pigments onto linen. Linen is one of my favourite fabrics to print on, it has a wonderful texture and is way more sustainable than cotton. This piece measures 60 x 60cm including the box frame (great framing by @hawkinsframing). Here’s the wall in the Milner gallery where mine and @angieparkertextiles artworks are hanging at the @rwabristol #rwa167 exhibition. The artwork in the middle on the right is by Peter Clegg (sorry couldn’t find his Insta handle) , it really has to be seen in the flesh to appreciate the layers within the work. There’s an orange theme on this wall which I really like, which is more apparent when you visit.
